This Years Christmas Event

Here on the PTA committee we have been busy trying to plan this years calendar of events.

We would really like to hear your thoughts on a Christmas Event. Our hope is to expand on what we did this year and we would like to pencil a date in on the calendar. This is where we would like your thoughts. What day and time would be the best?

Would a Friday with a 6pm start be a good option allowing you to be able to go home first? We thought this would also make it possible for those who work to also be able to make the event.

Would you prefer the event to start directly after school pick up like we did this year?

Or would you prefer it to happen on a Saturday?

We would obviously like the best turn out and for the event to be a success so your help would be really appreciated.

  1. Hi - I think Friday evening at 6pm would be best. Then the Dads can be made to come too! I'm sure they are desperate too (ha ha) It always used to be on a Friday evening and seemed to work well. A saturday is not good as to be honest, as I personally have enough to do on weekends in December without having the day taken up with school stuff. Sure the teachers wouldn't fancy it either and we need them to support it and come along too. Any chance of mulled wine this year???

  2. Bring back the PTA's traditional Friday evening Xmas Fair please - our family have really missed it! It used to be absolutely fab and we so looked forward to it.

  4. Thank you for your feedback we really appreciate it. We will be discussing our Christmas date at the next meeting as we really want to get something booked in sooner rather than later. It's our hope to put on a bigger Christmas Fair this year too. We were unable to do mulled wine last year as we did not have our license submitted in time. Now we know the procedures it's our hope that it would be on sale this year.
