FREE Pantomime Visit

On Wednesday 17th December the whole school is invited by the PTA to go to the Mayflower Theatre to see Brian Conley and Gok Wan in Cinderella! The children and staff will be taken by coach into Southampton for the 2pm performance where they will have a fantastic afternoon including a choice of ice cream or sorbet in the interval, then they will be brought back by coach to school. A consent form will be sent out in the next couple of weeks. This will be a very exciting opportunity for the children to enjoy with their friends.... 'Oh yes it will!' This whole event is being paid for by money raised by you at the PTA events throughout the year!

Best Dance Event of the Year......Part 3!

Well this was a fantastic event which was well attended by some wonderful dancers from places as far away as Bognor Regis and the New Forest all the way to Basingstoke and everywhere else in between! Thank you to the parents who came and enjoyed the evening and those who helped it go with a swing! On the night we took a whopping £442!

The Best Dance Event of the Year. ...

....Part 3 is going to be on Friday 24th October 8 pm til midnight! There will be a fun modern jive lesson, guest DJ, free tea, coffee,  squash and water but feel free to bring your own alcohol! We are lucky to have a performance from Matt and Caitie from A & L Dance Academy!  All for just £5 per person!

Car Boot Sale - Thank You

Well, considering the weather we had a good morning at our car boot sale! The stall holders moved into the hall as the rain poured down but there were some lovely people braved the elements and enjoyed shopping, refreshments and barbecued burgers and sausages. Thank you to all those who helped in the run up and on the day!

Free Family Fun Day

Well, what a fantastic turn out for our fun day! Thank you to all those who came and enjoyed the singing from James, bingo, rounders, football, barbecue (expertly cooked by Mr Hayman and Mark Barker, thank you chaps!), refreshments, ice cream and cake.....all FREE! A welcome back to school and to the new school year and a gift from the PTA.

PTA AGM

Hello! Do you fancy being part of the Kings Copse PTA committee? Making decisions on what events we have, helping out at events and having fun, all to enhance the school lives of our children. Well, now's your chance....on Tuesday 14th October at 3.30pm  we are holding our AGM! Please do come along even if you don't want to be a member of the committee as you can find out what we are about and what we do and plans for this school year. There will be refreshments and biscuits available and a creche for the children. Remember.....we are all part of the PTA so lets work together to give the children a wonderful learning experience at the school!

Car Boot Sale!

Don't forget our fantastic car boot sale that is taking place at the school on Saturday 4th October. If you would like to apply for a pitch, then prices are £5 per car and £10 for vans. 

Please return any applications to the school. If you require another form, then please ask at the main office or see a member of the PTA team. 

Summer Fair - 28/06/14

It's not long until our annual Summer Fair is upon us! Always a popular event with many parents, this year once again guarantees not to disappoint.It's guaranteed to be a fun-filled afternoon for your family and friends with....
dancing, kickboxing, singing from our own fantastic choir, gymnastics and cheerleading in the arena, lots of games, a bouncy castle, cakes, plants, face painting, a beer tent, a barbeque and more!

Come and join in the excitement on SATURDAY 28th JUNE between 12pm and 3pm.

All of your favourite stalls will be there and all funds raised will help support projects in the school, including the development of an outside classroom.

The entrance fee will be 50p per adult but children come in free! A great way to spend a summer’s afternoon whilst raising money for the children! If you are able to help at all at the summer fair, please leave your name in the PTA box on the desk in the school office, thank you.

So come along to Kings Copse on Saturday 28th June!

The PTA are proud to present an adults disco on Saturday 22nd March 8-11pm.

There will be a modern jive performance and a short fun modern jive class included.

This Years Christmas Event

Here on the PTA committee we have been busy trying to plan this years calendar of events.

We would really like to hear your thoughts on a Christmas Event. Our hope is to expand on what we did this year and we would like to pencil a date in on the calendar. This is where we would like your thoughts. What day and time would be the best?

Would a Friday with a 6pm start be a good option allowing you to be able to go home first? We thought this would also make it possible for those who work to also be able to make the event.

Would you prefer the event to start directly after school pick up like we did this year?

Or would you prefer it to happen on a Saturday?

We would obviously like the best turn out and for the event to be a success so your help would be really appreciated.
